About the Call Center program
The Oklahoma Health Care Authority is the primary state entity that administers the state-purchased health care for qualified individuals in Oklahoma. SoonerCare (Oklahoma Medicaid) is a health coverage program jointly funded by the federal and state government. This program helps pay some or all medical bills for many people who can’t afford them. The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) is the state agency that administers the program and determines financial eligibility for the program.

Effective July 1, 2015, The Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) began processing Prior Authorization Requests (PARs) for children ages 4-20, under their Title XIX, SoonerCare benefits. People First Industries is the ONLY SoonerCare provider for these incontinence supplies. Our onsite call center was developed solely for this program. We have eight (8) full time staff members that work with SoonerCare members, doctors and OKHCA staff on a daily basis by making and receiving phone calls, faxing documents, uploading PARs, checking eligibility requirements and creating shipments. We also have to recertify each member for the program on a yearly basis.
